Terms of service

Last updated July 9, 2026

These Terms of Service govern your access to and use of Cerberus, provided by SXGuard. By creating an account or using the service, you agree to these terms on behalf of yourself and the organization you represent.

1. Acceptance of terms

By accessing or using Cerberus, you agree to be bound by these terms and by our Privacy Policy. If you are using the service on behalf of an organization, you represent that you are authorized to accept these terms for that organization.

2. The service

Cerberus provides a Zero Trust networking platform that connects your users, devices, and resources over encrypted, identity-based connections.

We may add, change, or remove features over time to improve the service, and we will give reasonable notice of material changes that affect how you use it.

3. Accounts and access

You are responsible for maintaining the security of your account and for all activity that occurs under it, including access granted to your users and devices.

You must configure access policies appropriately and promptly remove access for users and devices that should no longer have it.

4. Acceptable use

You agree not to misuse the service, including by attempting to disrupt it, bypass its security, access data you are not authorized to access, or use it to violate the rights of others or applicable law.

You are responsible for ensuring that your use of Cerberus complies with the policies of the networks and resources you connect.

5. Subscriptions and billing

Paid plans are billed in advance on the cadence shown at checkout. Fees are based on the plan and the number of users or peers in your account.

Unless stated otherwise, fees are non-refundable. You can change or cancel your plan at any time, and changes take effect at the start of the next billing period.

6. Service changes and availability

We work to keep Cerberus reliable and available, and eligible plans include a service level commitment. We may perform maintenance and will aim to minimize disruption.

We may suspend access where necessary to protect the security or integrity of the service, and will restore it as soon as reasonably possible.

7. Intellectual property

Cerberus, including its software, design, and trademarks, remains the property of SXGuard and its licensors. These terms do not grant you any rights in our intellectual property except the limited right to use the service.

You retain all rights to your own data and configuration.

8. Disclaimers

The service is provided on an "as is" and "as available" basis. To the extent permitted by law, we disclaim warranties not expressly stated in these terms.

9. Limitation of liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, neither party will be liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages, and our total liability for any claim is limited to the amount you paid for the service in the twelve months before the claim.

10. Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws applicable to SXGuard, without regard to conflict-of-law principles. Any disputes will be resolved in the courts of that jurisdiction.
